=== SUMMARY ===
“Be grateful for what you have.”
It is a line you probably hear all the time and, to be fair, there IS something to it.
After all, gratitude is fantastic, and practicing gratitude always leads to a happier, more fulfilling life…
But don’t let gratitude lead you to settle.
Today we’re going to talk about being relentless—about thinking big, pursuing your dreams, refusing to settle, and always chasing progress.
Happiness and fulfilment come from continuous work towards a worthy goal. That’s what relentlessness means—never giving up, never settling for what’s easy, for less than what you deserve.
Hard work IS hard, but it’s always worth it.
It’s a paradigm that people like Jeffery Hayzlett know, and know well.
In this episode of Making Bank, we’ll sit down with this relentless entrepreneur, who’s bought and sold over 250 companies and just authored a new book, “Think Big and Act Bigger”
Listen to hear Jeff talk in-detail about:
● The secret to chasing relentless success
● How he bought and sold over 250 companies
● Why there’s nothing wrong with failing at something
● How success comes in many forms
● Putting together a network for the world’s most powerful business leaders
● Creating a wildly successful online TV show
● Why you need to start listening, to start leading

=== SUMMARY ===
We’ve all heard of the legend of the overnight success…
…the question is do they really exist? Can people really go from zero to hero overnight?
The answer is yes, but rarely.
Unfortunately, the media loves to focus on the “yes” and forget about the “rarely.”
Overnight successes aren’t lucky—they’re just people who’ve reached the end of a long road laden with labor, stress, worry, and self-doubt. They’re they few people that stuck with the pain (the part the public never sees) long enough to feel the pleasure of accomplishment (the part the public always sees).
In week’s episode of Making Bank, listen as Russell Brunson, owner of Click Funnels imparts his wisdom and shares his stories of failure. It took years of ups and downs, trials and errors, to get him from aspiring entrepreneur to seasoned pro.
Hear us discuss:
- Getting started at the age of…12?!
- The real meaning of “Cycle”
- The best way to fall off the horse and get back on
- Why you should pay attention to profit and not gross.
- Pushing through when other people would stop
- Understanding your customer
- The importance of outcome disassociation

=== SUMMARY ===
People love the idea of a safe job…the job that will never go away and always create a livable income.
Work hard -> Do Well in school -> Graduate -> Get a good job -> Start a family
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the modern trap of the middle class mindset, a trap that encourages people from a very young age to seek security instead of opportunity.
Security is great—but at what cost? What freedoms, what opportunities, are you sacrificing for that security? These are vital questions to ask.
The vast majority of people have become afraid of bold action, afraid to take risks and abandon the security of their bubble.
Not Rizz Reed.
In this episode of Making Bank, meet this aggressively aspiring entrepreneur, who got his start in the music industry at the age of 16.
Listen to here Rizz talk in-detail about:
• His experience working with the music industry’s top artists
• How being 100% genuine and true to himself helped Rizz find success
• The importance of ambition
• How a horrifically negative event can be a massively positive life-changing experience
• Targeting your goal and turning it into an accomplishment
• Why you need to take your life (and your career) seriously from a young age

=== SUMMARY ===
“Being busy is different from being productive.”
If there ever was a quote to live by, that’s it.
Productivity and busyness are NOT the same thing—if they were there’s no way people like Tim Ferriss could exist.
Increasing your productivity doesn’t mean working furiously from sunup to sundown, it means making the absolute most of the time you dedicate to work.
Start by defining what hinders your productivity—identify the distractions keeping you from performing at your peak. Ask yourself, “What am I looking for today? What must I accomplish today in order to move my life (or my business) forward?” Questions like these will give you clarity and direction, the two keys you’ll need to unlock the gate to your productivity.
In this week’s episode of the Making Bank, Dean Graziosi inspires us to be our best and to keep moving forward in the face of adversity. Listen as he explains how he went from being a homeless teenager to a roaring success.
Highlights include:
-
How being broke can be your biggest ally.
-
The biggest mistake – partnering with the wrong person.
-
Why mastering your thoughts is important.
-
The biggest lie?—work on your weakness.
-
Learning to say, “NO.”
-
How a daily list helps you be productive.

=== SUMMARY ===
Most people—be they blue collar or white collar—work hard to get what they want in life…to realize their dreams.
Unfortunately, sometimes they work so hard they lose sight of what they’re actually working for…what really matters.
If you’re guilty of being one of these people—of laboring furiously throughout the day without finding any sense of fulfillment or enjoyment, and coming home with zero energy to chat with your spouse or play with your kids—ask yourself:
Am I being congruent? Am I following where my passions are? Am I living life that I WANT?
These are questions today’s guest, Brett Campbell, has been asking himself since childhood. Brett is one of those few successful individuals that truly comes to the understanding that money cannot buy happiness.
In this week’s episode of Making Bank, listen to Brett and Josh as they discuss:
-
How “not knowing your passion” is an excuse for not moving forward
-
How experience is the key to taking the right path
-
Becoming an “Achievement Entrepreneur”
-
The value of leads for your business
-
Winning Facebook offers that drive real results

=== SUMMARY ===
Of all the lines classic lines parents love to use, this line may be used more than any other:
Study hard because you need to go to a good school so you can get a good job.
But what if parents took a different approach?
What if parents started raising their kids to be outstanding entrepreneurs instead of outstanding students?
Molding kids to be the entrepreneurial leaders and business-boomers of tomorrow—challenging them to walk a different path through constant encouragement and by stressing their natural strengths—might be a better way.
In this episode of Making Bank, Adam Toren, founder of Kidpreneurs, discusses about how he started entrepreneurial journey as a child, and how his grandfather taught him the art of the sale—as fate would have it, the most important art lesson Adam (and his brother) would ever learn.
Listen as Adam and Josh talk about:
The key ingredient to being a successful entrepreneur
Why putting all your eggs in one basket is the biggest mistake you’ll ever make
How to utilize tools and online marketing
Why procrastination is the thief of fortune
How to match entrepreneurship with the lifestyle you want
Why passion can’t always pay the bills

=== SUMMARY ===
Courage…
We need it to live our lives confidently—to be who we were born to be, not what society tells us to be. The more courage we have, the truer to ourselves (and the happier) we can be.
When it comes to having courage, to connecting with our true selves internally, and projecting our true selves externally, there are usually three factors that keep us from moving forward with confidence:
Pain of Loss—the notion that, by being true to ourselves, we stand to lose something important. That fear of loss holds us back.
Pain of Process—the fear that the process of change, of being honest with ourselves or going after who we want to be, is going to be hard, going to be painful. The process to get from A to B, the hardships that we may have to endure, keep us from doing what’s necessary.
Pain of Outcome—the idea that the effort we invest will fail to improve our stead.
In this week’s episode of Making Bank, we invite John Lee Dumas, founder of Entrepreneur On Fire, to dive into the subject of courage and the critical role it plays in our lives.
John believes success is a byproduct of two things: hard work and courage.
Courage to stare adversity right in the eyes, and hard work to do what’s necessary to surmount it.

=== SUMMARY ===
Are you living your truth? Ask yourself, what three words really define who I am, where I live, and how I interact with others?
Defining these words will help you to understand the path you’re on. Once you’ve identified your path, think about your clarity. How clearly do you see yourself? How clearly can you identify how you want to be treated and how you want to treat others?
These are just some of questions posed by Michael Fishman, health consultant and connoisseur. In this episode of Making Bank, Michael shares how marketing language, consumer care, and work culture can be combined to help companies make the leap from competitive to dominant in their respective industries.
Listen to this week’s episode to hear Michael talk about:
- The importance of that which you do not know
- How Prevention Magazine came to be
- The power that can be derived from wits, desire, and faith
- How to leverage psychology to help people
- Life as a servant to relationships
- Why adding value to the lives of others is the easiest path to success…as Jay Abraham says, “Never wait for someone to hand you a check to help them."

5 Common Mistakes Entrepreneurs Make with guest Logan Stout: Making Bank SIE19
Thursday Dec 31, 2015
Thursday Dec 31, 2015
One of the most important things to keep in mind as an entrepreneur is having a clearly defined vision of where you and your business should go.
What’s your mission? What’s your passion?
Are you doing what you love or are just earning a living?
In this episode (19) of Making Bank, Josh interviews Logan Stout, a lifelong entrepreneur, former professional athlete, sixteen-time World Series player and coach, motivational speaker, and author of the book “Stout Advice.” Logan has become one of the world’s most successful businessmen—not by dwelling on what day of the week it is or what suit he’s wearing—but by living a life of discipline and cultivating meaningful interpersonal relationships.
During their Making Bank conversation, Josh and Logan work to help conscientious businessmen and women understand…
- The importance of visualization in driving success
- How to avoid common, early pitfalls of entrepreneurship
- Why developing personality, loving what you do, and steering clear of negativity is vital
- The difference between living and merely existing
