=== SUMMARY ===
When you look back on your childhood, what can you remember from your days in school?
A bully? A best friend? A field-trip?
More than anything, you probably remember the system of measurement. A collection of tests, essays, homework assignments, and in-class presentations for which you were academically judged and ranked with an arbitrary letter-grade.
And the grade you received? Well, that grade was largely determined by your ability to provide answers.
Having the “answer” was the means to achieving success.
For at least the first 18-years of your life, you were conditioned to focus on “the answer” in order to achieve success, and because of that conditioning, you probably still focus on having “the answer” as a professional.
When you’re trying to sell your product, your service, your value, etc. you focus on giving your prospect “the answers” because you still believe answers are the way in which you will achieve your goals. The problem is answers aren’t the conduit to professional success like they were the conduit to academic success.
In the professional world, it’s not the answers but the questions that lead to success, and the entrepreneur who can ask the right questions with the greatest regularity is the entrepreneur who will find themselves king of the hill.
So, if your goal is to become a successful entrepreneur, you need to learn how to Ask, just like today’s guest, Ryan Levesque did.
An online marketing expert and highly-regarded author, Ryan has been lauded by media outlets from CNBC to the San Francisco Chronicle for his capacity to ask the “singe most-important question” in any situation.
Today on Making Bank, host Josh Felber invites Ryan onto the show to share his international journey, his very real brush with death, and explain how he became one of the most highly-regarded marketing minds on the planet.
Ryan will also provide some invaluable advice for entrepreneurs looking to get a leg-up on their competition, and grow their businesses from floundering operations to cash-machines doing $25K or more a month.
You will learn...
- The significance of leaving a legacy.
- How to start thinking small to score BIG.
- What makes a question more powerful than an answer.
- Why the online business is the sacred cow for the introverted entrepreneur.
And more...

=== SUMMARY ===
The world of sales is a lot like the world of professional golf—the winner of a 72-hole tournament may only finish two or three strokes ahead of the golfer who comes in 10th place, but the payouts between 1st place and 10th place are radically different.
The same is true of sales.
The top salesman might only close a few more deals than you, but those few deals are going to radically alter how he’s compensated compared to you.
Of course, this lesson applies to more than salespeople, it applies to companies as a whole—the difference between meeting your quarterly or annual revenue numbers might only be one or two deals, but how you feel when you miss those goals versus how you feel when you hit them is miles apart.
So, how do you avoid that “close-but-no-cigar” feeling? How do you make sure you and your company are one of the “winners”?
Well, that’s what host Josh Felber wants to find out on today’s episode of Making Bank, featuring guest Randy Grizzle.
Randy is a man who knows how to create value through negotiating and has successfully closed thousands of high-ticket sales, simultaneously generating tens of millions of dollars in revenue.
Growing up on a cattle farm in rural Idaho, you wouldn’t peg Randy as the kind of kid who would grow up to be one of America’s most successful salesmen, but—as we’ve highlighted time and time again on Making Bank—nobody can be limited by their origin story. Randy has become a true master of the sale and is getting ready to share his sales-generating secrets in a new book titled Closer Secrets.
With the book, Randy hopes to help business owners successfully bridge the gap between their product or service, and what it takes to actually sell that item at a high-ticket price point.
For the entrepreneur who knows what they do is amazing but doesn’t know how to sell that amazingness, this is the book for you!
In addition to discussing the book, Randy and Josh will also talk about...
- How selling is not about selling—it’s about value delivery
- Why mastery of the fundamentals is the secret to success
- How relatability is essential to sales and identifying the real why
- Why a little bit of difference now can make a HUGE difference tomorrow
- Routine—how it separates those who operate at a super-high level from “average” individuals
- Why companies need to learn to focus on the specifics as opposed to the “overall” picture if they want BIG sales

=== SUMMARY ===
Opinions are a lot like caffeine—taken in the right dose, they can perk you up, help you focus, and motivate you to achieve any number of objectives and goals. But—if consumed to excess—they can also leave you feeling nervous, anxious, and completely unsure of what to do next.
Too often we are guilty of seeking out and relying upon the opinions of others to move us forward in our day-to-day lives. The reality is, we shouldn’t be seeking opinions at all—only counsel.
Counsel is the catalyst for rapid growth and massive achievement. Counsel is what the world’s most successful entrepreneurs and philanthropists use on a daily basis.
So, what’s the difference?
Stated simply, opinion is rooted in ignorance, lack of knowledge, and emotion, whereas counsel is based on experience, wisdom, knowledge, leadership.
Today on Making Bank, host Josh Felber invites Greg Reid to offer—not opinions—but sage counsel rooted in years and years of experience working with the world’s most accomplished people.
For those unfamiliar with Greg, he’s a natural entrepreneur, who started a super-successful advertising agency that he later sold for a handsome profit at the age of 30. Since getting out of the nine-to-five business, he’s transformed himself into an author and speaker who’s been everywhere from the Pentagon to the United Nations to discuss perseverance, success, adaptability, and what it takes to transform an idea into a reality.
By his own admission, the key to Greg’s success has been application—he capitalizes on the wealth of wisdom available through books and applies that wisdom with his own spin. He seeks the insights and the counsel of those who’ve already achieved that which he wants, and then disseminates that information in his own voice and with his own perspective.
That’s it.
Get ready to hear Greg and Josh share a wealth of mind-tingling insights that include...
- The power of “seeking it”
- Why you only attract what you are
- The difference between “stickability” and flexibility
- Why having a positive mental attitude doesn’t involve running away from reality
- How to choose the right people to surround yourself with so you can achieve the success you seek
- When to know if the thing—the job, the house, the career, etc.— you’re desperately holding on to is really the thing that’s been holding you back
And more...

=== SUMMARY ===
What if someone were to tell you the healthcare system was designed to make you sick? That patient preservation wasn’t the #1 priority of the healthcare system, but the preservation of the insurance companies, the hospitals, and the regulatory bodies was instead?
What if someone were to tell you that the education system was no longer interested in educating you or your children, because it was more interested in preserving itself and its wealth? In keeping Department of Education leaders well-paid, and school administrators’ pockets lined?
Would you dismiss those comments out of hand, and call them “crazy”? Or would you sit quietly and ask to learn more?
That’s the decision you’ll have to make when you sit down to hear host Josh Felber interview today’s Making Bank guest, Naveen Jain.
Healthcare and education are two of many established industries Naveen isn’t afraid to speak critically of or disrupt. A successful entrepreneur who grew up in an incredibly impoverished family outside of New Delhi in Uttar Pradesh, India, Naveen knows staying silent is not the way to climb to the top.
Several of his innovations were vital to the success of Microsoft’s Windows 95 platform, and he used his accomplishments at the company as a springboard for a successful entrepreneurial career. To date, he’s launched Moon Express, World Innovation Institute, iNome, TalentWise, Intelius, and Infospace—all companies designed to solve the world’s challenges through innovation.
Sit-down and strap-in for this exciting, almost hour-long interview where Josh and Naveen discuss touch on a variety of interesting ideas, including...
- What it takes to transform big dreams into real action
- How massive cultural change can be spurred through technology and vice versa
- Why it’s so important to encourage people to chase the impossible
- The difference between showing your children love and pride
- Why money is the most important thing a socially-conscious entrepreneur can earn
And more...

=== SUMMARY ===
The internet is awash in self-proclaimed “digital media experts.” Men and women who, without a moment’s hesitation, will profess to being “the unquestioned authority” when it comes to all things digital, including ad buying.
But the stark reality is that only a select few of these “digital media experts” are actually knowledgeable when it comes to the science of ad buying.
And that’s what makes today’s guest on Making Bank so special—he’s a legitimate ad buying genius. A man who started building his digital media knowledge under the direct tutelage of Russell Brunson in 2007, before graduating to his own career and his own business.
His name?
Justin Brooke, the man who used paid ad-traffic to take himself from ramen to Maine lobster.
With just $60 in his pocket—literally half of his monthly electric bill—Justin started a $2 a day AdWords campaign in 2008, and used the campaign to double his money. Justin continued to double the money he put into AdWords for 11 months in a row, and by 2009 he had created a six-figure income.
Today, Justin runs company called DMBIOnline, a highly sought after 7-figure a digital ad agency, and runs the Digital Media Buying Institute where he offers 12-courses designed to help aspiring media buyers learn the ins and outs of the trade.
Listen as Justin joins host Josh Felber to discuss all things digital media, including...
- The Traffic Crisis versus The Traffic Hail Mary
- Why you can’t buy the lottery with ad traffic
- The immense and oft overlooked value of testing
- Why $100 is all you need to set up a successful ad campaign
- How to identify ad winners versus ad losers
And more...

=== SUMMARY ===
There are no “born” entrepreneurs.
Yes, some men and women are dispositioned to be more successful walking the entrepreneurial path, but even the most naturally gifted entrepreneur has to work long and hard to actually become one.
And it is in the cauldron of that hard work—in the midst of pouring out all that blood, all that sweat, and all those tears—that every entrepreneur learns an invaluable lesson:
It’s impossible to make it to the top alone.
The days are too short. The knowledge gap is too wide. And the journey is too exhausting.
To become an entrepreneur of worth and note, it takes a team of people. Mentors—not supporters—who can share their years of experience, and introduce you to a platform of greatness upon which you can build your entrepreneurial vision.
That is the message of today’s guest on Making Bank, legendary internet marketer, Tai Lopez, a man who went from broke to living in Beverly Hills with a cherry-red Ferrari parked in his garage.
Tai believes that entrepreneurial success isn’t about reinventing the wheel, and it isn’t about stubbornly going it alone. Rather, entrepreneurial success is about taking the ideas of those who’ve achieved the success you want, and making those ideas even better.
Tune in to hear host Josh Felber, talk to Tai about his experience as an entrepreneur, extracting invaluable advice along the way that includes...
- Why stubbornness and sensitivity are the Achilles heel of the everyday entrepreneur...
- The power of facing the stark reality of the human timeline head-on...
- What it takes to amplify your learning curve...
- How to create a group of valuable advisors...
And more...

Prison isn’t a place any entrepreneur wants to go, but it’s exactly where today’s guest ended up a few years ago.
His name is Ryan Stewman, and his story is unlike any host Josh Felber has ever shared on Making Bank.
A two-time felon, Ryan overcame a checkered past through hard work, fierce determination, and an insatiable appetite for learning (in prison he read at least one book per day, sometimes two).
Today, Ryan works as an online coach and mentor for those aspiring entrepreneurs who want to change their businesses for the better. Coupling his impressive life experience, incredible business knowledge, and passion for helping others, the lessons Ryan offers aren’t complicated, but they are effective.
In fact, they’re incredibly effective. And to those who’ve known him longest, Ryan is a limitless source of confidence, inspiration, and energy that can be tapped at a moment’s notice to catapult careers to the next level.
Get ready to hear Josh and Ryan discuss what it takes to crawl from the pits of the Federal Prison System to the very top of the entrepreneurial landscape, and share a number of key insights including...
- The difference between selling the best-case scenario and the worst-case scenario...
- Why the creation of a strict schedule can be the catalyst for exponential growth and development...
- How the smallest opportunities—like working at a car wash—can lead to your biggest business returns...
- The importance of mitigating everyday distractions—like television—to create a healthier lifestyle...
And more...

One of the biggest mistakes any entrepreneur can make is undervaluing and underinvesting in marketing.
Without marketing, you can’t communicate the worth of your product or service to the world at large, and if you can’t communicate the worth, how can you expect the world to pay you for whatever it is you’re peddling?
Now, this isn’t to say marketing isn’t without its faults. There are countless ways to waste your precious start-up dollars marketing yourself and your business.
However, if you take a strategic and thoughtful approach to marketing—if you teach your consumers how to make a buying decision in your industry, and dedicate your marketing to building trust and rapport with the customer above all else—then you can 5x or even 10x your business in a matter of months.
These are just a few ideas shared by the immortal Joe Polish, one of the world’s most highly regarded marketers, an undisputed networking genius, and a long-awaited guest on Making Bank.
Joe is the President of Piranha Marketing Inc., and perhaps more importantly, he is the founder of Genius Network® (aka The $25K Group), the co-founder of 10XTalk.com and ILoveMarketing.com (two highly popular podcasts on iTunes), and the founder for the $100k Group
Get ready to hear Joe discuss his obsession with value creation—from direct marketing to simple book recommendations—as well as...
- The critical importance of a sales letter to securing funds for your business
- What it takes to overcome addition and abuse
- The danger of technology and its incessant tracking capabilities
- Why you need to come from a place of generosity and service to succeed in business
- His passion project, Artists for Addicts

=== SUMMARY ===
The Achilles heel of many entrepreneurs is the simple (and horribly misguided) thought that there are only one or two steps separating them and their ideas from success.
The reality is success can’t be achieved by clearing one or two hurdles because the race to the top isn’t like a 110-meter sprint—it’s like a marathon, with hundreds of steps to take and an endless sea of obstacles to clear.
And even for those entrepreneurs hard-nosed enough to actually find what they’re looking for in terms of success, it’s a vicious, day-in, day-out fight to hold onto it.
Having said that, there is one thing every entrepreneur can do to make the road to the top a little easier...
...Stay close to the customer.
Why? because the customer is the one who hands over their hard-earned dollars and cents in exchange for your products, your services, and your ideas. The customer is the one that keeps your doors open, your lights on, and your employees paid. If you’re not clued in to what they’re looking for, and not giving them what they’re asking for, your business is as good as dead.
These are the immensely wise words of today’s guest, Daymond John, who sits down with host Josh Felber for his second Making Bank interview.
Born into the rough and tumble neighborhood of Hollis, Queens, New York, Daymond is no stranger to being hard-nosed and clearing seemingly insurmountable hurdles in pursuit of a dream. Today, he is known as the CEO of FUBU, an investor on the reality TV series Shark Tank, and a highly sought after consultant and speaker.
Tune-in to hear Josh and Daymond discuss...
- Why your health is a today issue as opposed to a tomorrow ..
- What it takes to face and overcome self-doubt...
- Why self-reflection is one of the most valuable ways to spend your time...
- How to position yourself so you’re one-step away from the money...
- Why the people in your company are as important if not more important than the numbers...
And more...

=== SUMMARY ===
Every entrepreneur faces obstacles.
Some of those obstacles are big, other small, but all impede.
Obstacles keep entrepreneurs from getting that which they want most—success.
But what if, instead of looking at obstacles as roadblocks designed to slow you down from realizing your hopes and dreams, you started looking at obstacles as the building blocks upon which entrepreneurial success is constructed?
Rather than viewing hurdles as hindrances, what if you started looking at those hurdles as your education...
Your training...
The way in which you better yourself each and every day so that—one day—you can actually achieve the level of success you’ve long been searching for?
Creating this kind of mindset shift isn’t easy, but it’s transformative, and if you can pull it off, the sky’s the limit for what you can accomplish in your life.
Doubt it?
Then you should listen to today’s episode of Making Bank with guest Chris Record of Techademics, a company that bridges the gap between the seminar industry and higher education.
Today, Chris is generating millions of dollars in revenue every year, but his life hasn’t always been so lavish.
Growing up in a broken home, living off food stamps in section-8 housing, and dropping out of high school in the 9th grade, Chris knows what it’s like to grow up on the other side of the tracks. But rather than use his crushing poverty, familial discord, and lack of education as excuses—as obstacles too big to overcome—Chris used those challenges to make himself stronger and more resilient.
So, get ready to hear Chris tell his compelling story to host Josh Felber, and explain why...
- Saying How Can I? is far more powerful than saying I can’t.
- Massive action is the duct tape and WD-40 of life.
- Personal development is the smartest investment you can ever make.
- You don’t have an excuse to NOT have multiple income streams.
- Life is the world’s best educator
And more...
